The Kovai Sketches has been conceptualized with a strong cultural focus – that of bringing alive the historical and mythological legacy of a city. Coimbatore’s history, geography and myth were woven into stories by children at a creative writing workshop held at Book Mark Library, Coimbatore. The stories are being professionally illustrated and the book launch is scheduled for August 2015.
